Consumer goods tariff hike shows little effect in curbing imports
A government policy to impose higher import tariffs on 1,147 consumer goods has been unable to significantly discourage importers, with imports decreasing by less than 10 percent since the rule was implemented in October.

Indofood CBP posts net sales growth in first quarter
Processed food giant Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur (ICBP) booked a consolidated net sales growth of 4.5 percent in the first quarter of this year, an increase to Rp 9.88 trillion (US$702.9 million) from Rp 9.46 trillion in the same period of 2017.
