Property developer PT Buana Permata Hijau has warned the Jakarta administration to stop the development of the BMW Stadium in Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta claiming that any construction activities by the city were illegal following a ruling in a land dispute.
The Agrarian and Spatial Planning Ministry has announced it will register 10 million new plots of land this year, one million more than the initial target of 9 million set in 2015, following President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo’s order to expedite land certification.

The government has set targets to certify a total of 126 million plots of land in the country and to grant 9 million ha, comprising roughly 4.5 million ha of uncertified plots and 4.5 ha of degraded forests, to citizens under TORA scheme.
