View all search resultsChinese researchers who tested sperm of men infected with COVID-19 found that a minority of them had the new coronavirus in their semen, opening up a small chance the disease could be transmitted sexually, scientists said on Thursday.
During a teleconference on Tuesday, Sitti claimed that the agency's decision to recommend her dismissal was made in violation of procedure, saying she should have first been given an administrative sanction and a letter of reprimand.
The case went viral after one victim, identified only by her initials, LR, posted about the attack. She said it occurred on the evening of Nov. 13 while she was hailing an ojek (motorbike taxi) on the side of a street in Tasikmalaya.
The findings, published in the journal Human Reproduction, also showed that only 5% of marijuana smokers had sperm concentrations below 15 million/mL, which is the World Health Organization’s threshold for “normal” levels, compared with 12% of the non-smokers.
