View all search resultsWith Idul Fitri less than a week away, the government has reported a spike in the number of Indonesians on the move, particularly using modes of public transportation, as the country’s biggest mudik (exodus) season yet is almost in full swing.
With the 2023 mudik (exodus) season expected to see a record of more than 120 million Indonesians traveling across the country, authorities plan to temporarily open 11 new toll roads across Java and Sumatra to accommodate travelers.
