ndonesia’s online travel agency pioneer tiket.com has officially launched Online Ticket Week (OTW) LOKAL, a its grand grand annual discount feast to help boost the domestic tourism industry that has been challenged aamid the COVID-19 pandemic.
The launch was highlighted with the tiketLive virtual interaction featuring Susi Pudjiastuti, former Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Minister, and broadcast live on Instagram and YouTube accounts owned by @tiketcom.
Prospective travelers may expect the peak of excitement of the OTW LOKAL event as the SAMBER GLEDEK SPECIAL PROMO is unfolded. It comes up twice a day -- 12 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., known as JAM GLEDEK (thunder hour).

During the virtual interaction, Susi reminded travelers to maintain physical proximitydistancing, wear a face mask and always wash their hands after activities.

Susi is well known for her tough stance during her Cabinet ministerial stint from 2014 to 2019 with the task of protecting the economic sovereignty of the Indonesian maritime territory. Many fishing vessels that trespassed into Indonesian waters were sunk, on her orders.
The OTW LOKAL event is a way for tiket.com to support the Tourism and Creative Economy Ministry in its efforts to heal help the national tourism industry recover from the impacts of the pandemic.
