The energy ministry has offered PSC cost recovery schemes for four offshore and onshore blocks in its second bid round this year.
he Energy and Mineral Resources Ministry on Wednesday offered four oil and gas work areas across the country through a production sharing contract (PSC) cost recovery scheme in the second bid round this year.
The areas on offer are the Peri Mahakam offshore and onshore block in East Kalimantan, the Bose offshore and onshore block in East Nusa Tenggara (NTT), the Bunga offshore block in East Java and the Sangkar offshore and onshore block in Central and East Java.
“We have great expectations that this conference will lead us to cooperation and collaboration in exploring the oil in Indonesia,” Oil and Gas Director General Tutuka Ariadji said during the International Convention on Indonesia Upstream Oil and Gas (IOG) 2022 in Nusa Dua, Bali.
Direct proposal tenders have a bid deadline of Jan. 10, 2023, while regular tenders have a bid deadline of Mar. 24, 2023.

The ministry also announced the winning bidder for the West Kampar onshore work area in North Sumatra and Riau, offered through a direct tender: a consortium comprising energy companies PT Aserra Petrolindo Gemilang and PT Sarana Pembangunan Riau (SPR) Langgak.
“With this announcement, we have a great expectation that West Kampar will contribute to the government’s program on increasing oil and gas production,” Tutuka said at the same event.
