T Arsari Nusa Investama, a subsidiary of Arsari Group, has become a shareholder of PT Indokripto Koin Semesta Tbk (COIN), a publicly listed firm that owns the crypto-asset bourse Central Financial X (CFX) and the crypto custodian service Kustodian Koin Indonesia (ICC).
Arsari Group’s vice president director and chief operating officer, Aryo Djojohadikusumo, said the decision reflects the group’s commitment to supporting Indonesia’s accelerating digital transformation.
Aryo is the son of the group’s founder, Hashim Djojohadikusumo, who is the brother of President Prabowo Subianto.
“We see COIN as having a strong foundation and the most complete ecosystem to become a catalyst in building and developing the national digital-asset industry, including crypto assets, with good governance at the forefront,” Aryo said in a disclosure on Wednesday.
“This investment is not just about economic value, but about building Indonesia’s digital sovereignty, enabling innovation and value creation for the national economy.”
Aryo noted that Indonesia’s digital-asset ecosystem is becoming increasingly comprehensive, supported by a maturing regulatory landscape as the Financial Services Authority (OJK) takes over digital-asset supervision.
He emphasized that Arsari Group’s strategy is oriented toward long-term, sustainable economic development. The investment, he added, is also aligned with the government’s agenda to strengthen national digital-economic sovereignty and support the development of a secure, regulated and globally competitive digital ecosystem.
