tate-owned oil and gas giant Pertamina will offload 38 noncore subsidiaries in 2026, including hospital, aviation, hotel and insurance businesses, as part of a broader effort to streamline operations and refocus on its core energy business.

Pertamina director for transformation and business sustainability Agung Wicaksono said on Wednesday that some of the entities being streamlined are special purpose vehicles under the shipping subholding company, which will remain operational but be folded into a leaner structure.

Meanwhile, noncore units outside the oil and gas sector, such as healthcare, hospitality and aviation, will be gradually divested and grouped under state asset fund Danantara by sector.

Divested assets including hospital groups currently managed by Indonesia Healthcare Corporation (IHC).

“We have already reached an agreement with Danantara on the valuation of IHC, and the process will be continued. Around 38 entities including 12 hospitals are already prepared,” Agung said on Wednesday, as quoted by Kumparan.

“But once again, we are ready, and if there are further directions from Danantara, we will execute them,” he added.
