AKARTA: Young singer Fatin Shidqia Lubis will take the leading role of Dream, a film based on her meteoric rise to stardom.

Fatin attained fame in 2013 after winning the X-Factor Indonesia talent show.

'€œPraise God, I am very grateful to have the opportunity to star in a movie,'€ Fatin told tribunnews.com on Thursday in Jakarta.

Fatin said she would strive to give her best in the film, which starts shooting this month.

'€œI have practiced my lines for a month. I still need to practice my acting skills so that I can present the best,'€ she said.

Under the direction of Guntur Soeharjanto, Fatin will act alongside Morgan Oey and Mathias Muchus.
