NE lightweight kickboxing world champion Regian Eersel added the inaugural lightweight muay Thai crown to his collection of gold on Sunday at ONE Fight Night 3: Lineker vs. Andrade.
The Dutch-Surinamese superstar joined a very exclusive group of two-sport ONE world champions by defeating surging star Sinsamut Klinmee by split decision at the Axiata Arena in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
“The Immortal” has consistently proven that he can take on anyone inside the Circle. And he made it clear that, despite having just won his second belt, he is ready to get back in the Circle as soon as possible.
“ONE Championship [can] give me a name, and I'll be there. I'm not really a fighter to challenge some people. I just want to fight. Just give me a fight, and I will be there. No name, just let me fight,” Eersel said.
“If you know me, I will take any fight. I just said it also after the fight: ‘Put me here, ONE Championship, and I will be here, and I will fight.’ That's me.”

The Sityodtong Amsterdam athlete's list of wins continues to grow. And now that he is a two-sport ONE World Champion, he’ll soon have to face the reality of being called out by more fighters who want to take him down.
For now, though, the only thing on Eersel's mind is becoming familiar with his new status.
“Two belts – it's one of my life goals. And I did it. You have to call me ‘champ-champ’ now. I am a World Champion of two sports now, and you can't compare this,” Eersel said.
