View all search resultsUS President Donald Trump paused tariffs on Mexico for one month after last-minute talks Monday -- but there was no breakthrough yet in negotiations with Canada on an issue that has sparked fears of a global trade war.
Canadian and Mexican exports to the United States will face a 25 percent tariff, although energy resources from Canada will have a lower 10 percent levy. Goods from China, which already face various rates of duties, will see an additional 10 percent tariff.
