Some people struggle with mental health issues, and instead of seeking professional health, they google their symptoms and self-diagnose. This is dangerous, and even more so when we stumble upon people who claim to be professionals but lack competence and ethics and straight-up exploit those who are truly struggling with their mental health.
A University of Hong Kong survey found that a third of adults in the special administrative region reported symptoms of PTSD, up from 2 percent in 2015, while 11 percent reported depression, up from 2 percent during the Occupy protests in 2014.
