Police arrest two alleged masterminds of motorcycle theft group
“Whenever the group wanted to steal motorcycles, Dendi usually provided the group with some tools, such as T-handle wrenches and sharp weapons. He also provided motorcycles for the group and arranged the people who would buy the motorcycles,” Jakarta Police spokesman Sr. Comr. Argo Yuwono said on Friday.

Combining Pigovian taxes to cut emission
Indonesia has become one of the largest emitters of greenhouse gases (GHG) in the world. According to the OECD, Indonesia produced around 883 million tons of CO2 in 2016. In this case, transportation contributed as the second largest factor of the CO2 emissions (World Resource Institute, 2017). Cars are believed to be the highest emitters of GHG among other vehicles.

Illegal racers leave motorcycles behind in attempt to escape police
Dozens of motorcycles were confiscated during a police raid on Saturday on an unfinished section of the Cinere-Serpong toll road in South Tangerang, Banten. Many of the motorbikes were left behind by illegal racers who fled the scene to escape the raid.
