View all search resultsTechnology giant Gojek has announced that American tech companies Facebook and PayPal have invested an undisclosed amount in its new round of funding, joining other high-profile global corporations such as Google and Tencent.
Gojek - whose backers include Alphabet's Google and Chinese tech companies Tencent and JD.com - and Dego Ride will start operating based on a proof-of-concept basis to measure demand for the service over six months, Minister Anthony Loke Siew Fook said.
Vivendi SA is in preliminary talks to sell a 10% stake in Universal Music Group to China’s Tencent Holdings Ltd., a deal that would value the world’s biggest music business at 30 billion euros ($33.6 billion). The French company’s shares rose as much as 9.1 percent.
