Hundreds of residents in Java's easternmost province have been displaced after a series of natural disasters, including floods, landslides and high waves, which also left four people dead.

A resident of Nawangan district in Pacitan regency was killed over the weekend when his shop collapsed in a landslide, after torrential rain eroded a nearby cliff.
“The victim was cleaning the ditch in front of his shop when the cliff collapsed and damaged his shop,” Nawangan district head Sukarwan said on Thursday. “He was found dead under the rubble.”
At least three people were killed when KLM Fajar Lorena Safari capsized in the waters off Situbondo regency during bad weather on Sunday.
The motor sailer was heading to Situbondo from Sapudi Island with 73 passengers on board when it sank in high waves, leaving two dead.
The third victim, a 65-year-old woman from Madura, was declared missing until rescuers found her body on Tuesday in the waters off Raas Island, east of Sapudi Island.
"[Her] body was found on the third day after the incident," Wahyu Setia Budi, from the Banyuwangi Search and Rescue Agency, said on Tuesday, adding that family members had identified the woman.
