Saudi Arabia’s King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and his entourage left Bali on Sunday after extending their original vacation on the island of the gods by three days. The king departed for Tokyo for another state visit.
As many as 11 memorandums of understanding (MoU) on cooperation were signed during the king’s visit, covering a wide range of fields, including joint efforts to fight terrorism, people smuggling and drug trafficking.
Bali has so much to offer that one visit is never enough. Hence the saying, once you are in Bali, you will always want to come back. However, for King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia, going through all the diplomatic protocols to make another visit to the magical resort island could be a big hassle.
