As the United Nations climate summit enters its second week, calls are mounting for Indonesia to take stronger action to protect small islands and the ocean from the looming threats of global warming and industrial emissions.
The power plant will have a total capacity of 40 megawatts (MW) and will require around US$220 million of investment, according to a statement posted on Instagram by the directorate general of new, renewable energy and energy conservation.
