View all search resultsIndonesians are still being affected by last week’s ransomware attack on a temporary national data center (PDN) that disrupted public services, with some calling for the government to take responsibility for failing to properly secure their personal data.
In his opening remarks at the program’s launch event on Monday, Jokowi told ministers and other government officials in attendance that the state bureaucracy should be geared toward making public services easier to access and use.
Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform Minister Abdullah Azwar Anas said that remote working could apply to government workers handling administrative work and who did not handle public service directly.
