inance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa confirmed that the submission deadline for individual annual tax returns (SPT) will be pushed back by one month to April 30, from the original March 31 cutoff. The policy will be formalized through a circular issued by the ministry.
“[The SPT reporting deadline] will be extended by one month,” Purbaya said on Wednesday, as quoted by Antara.
The extension comes as authorities respond to ongoing difficulties experienced by taxpayers in accessing the Coretax system, which has disrupted the reporting process for some users.
Purbaya added that the revised deadline will align individual taxpayers with corporate taxpayers, both now required to submit their filings by April 30.
