Indonesia is ‘moving forward in a careful manner’ with its membership at the Board of Peace and other affairs related to Gaza and Palestine with regional developments, including the United States-Israel war on Iran, seen as references for its assessments, said President Prabowo Subianto.
Sjafrie told reporters Indonesia had been prepared to send 20,000 troops for the force but was now ready to deploy 8,000, introduced gradually, adding that other countries had pledged to send lower numbers.
President Prabowo Subianto has arrived in Abu Dhabi to bolster bilateral ties with the United Arab Emirates and advance Jakarta’s regional diplomacy, marking the fourth stop of his overseas tour during which Gaza has often emerged as a central issue.
