Sandiaga guarantees Sudirman-Thamrin sidewalks will be finished by end of July
Jakarta Deputy Governor Sandiaga Uno claimed on Thursday that the expansion of sidewalks along Jl. Sudirman and Jl. M.H. Thamrin in Central Jakarta will be finished and open to the public by the end of July despite construction still being underway.

Pedestrians, motorcyclists and vendors do battle over sidewalks
A recent action by Alfini Lestari, who blocked motorcycle riders as they attempted to drive on the sidewalk of Jl. MH Thamrin in Central Jakarta, attracted widespread praise because the rampant invasion of pedestrian areas by motorists has for a long time bothered many pedestrians. And, of course, everyone is affected because all of us are pedestrians.
