At around 3:30 a.m. on Friday, a 57-year-old local resident living near the mosque, reportedly confronted Arjuna and told him he was not allowed to sleep there. When Arjuna refused to leave, the man allegedly became agitated and called four of his friends to the mosque.
According to Nur, the student was first drawn into gambling through online gaming, initially seeking money to play the games. What began as an attempt to earn quick cash soon escalated into a full-blown addiction, leaving him embroiled in debts.
