The confirmed winner of the Democratic Party nomination will face several contenders in November -- including the current, scandal-plagued mayor, Eric Adams, who is a Democrat but has vowed to run again as an independent.

Iran denied violating the ceasefire. The armed forces general staff denied that there had been any launch of missiles towards Israel in recent hours, Iran's Nour News reported.

Two frigates, the Royal Navy's HMS Richmond and the Spanish Navy's Mendez Nunez, will be visiting Jakarta later this week as part of a deployment in the Indo-Pacific region under Operation Highmast 2025. 

"Fourth salvo of missiles fired from Iran toward Israel," Iranian state media Irib posted on Telegram.

"I can confirm that Al Udeid Air Base was attacked by short-range and medium-range ballistic missiles originating from Iran today. At this time, there are no reports of US casualties," the official said.
